The host cities for the event will be Alicante and Valencia, two vibrant and sports-loving cities located on the eastern coast of Spain. Alicante will host the men’s tournament, while Valencia will stage the women’s competition. The IHF Men’s Youth World Championship will feature 32 teams from all over the globe, divided into eight groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, competing for the coveted title. Similarly, the IHF Women’s Youth World Championship will bring together 32 countries, who will also be split into eight groups. The top two teams from each pool will progress to the knockout rounds, where they will battle for the championship trophy. IHF President Dr. Hassan Moustafa expressed his delight at the selection of Spain as the host nation. “Spain has a strong handball tradition and is a passionate supporter of the sport,” he said. “We are confident that they will provide an exceptional hosting experience for the young athletes.” The tournament will provide a platform for the future stars of the handball world to showcase their talent and represent their countries with pride.
